Manuscript Writing Workshop II: Strengthening Research Output

By: admin On: Jan. 26, 2026 Tag: Workshop View Count: 71

Scientific publication remains a cornerstone of academic growth and a critical skill for researchers, enabling them to communicate evidence, share findings, advance knowledge, and contribute meaningfully to the global scientific community.

The second round of the Manuscript Writing Workshop, organized by REACCT-CAN, has been successfully completed, marking a highly productive week dedicated to advancing manuscripts toward publication readiness. The workshop created a focused and supportive environment that enabled participants to make substantial progress on their research outputs.

The program combined hands-on writing sessions, structured goal setting, and close mentorship for both Master’s and PhD students. Key thematic areas included scientific writing, manuscript structure, publication ethics, and qualitative research reporting. Throughout the week, participants presented sections of their manuscripts and received in-depth, constructive feedback, allowing them to refine their drafts and develop clear, actionable plans for journal submission.

Beyond individual manuscript development, the workshop reinforced essential skills in academic writing and scholarly communication. It also strengthened peer learning and mentorship interactions, contributing to a collaborative research culture.

Taken together, the workshop reinforced REACCT-CAN’s commitment to advancing research excellence by equipping researchers with the skills, mentorship, and support needed to produce high-quality, publishable scientific work.
